COEFI Scholars receive monthly stipends totaling up to $1000 per
school year to help off-set the cost of school-related expenses.

Aunye Amos
Aunye graduated from Old Dominion
University in Norfolk, Virginia on December 18, 2005 with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is currently
employed with the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute
as a Psychiatric Technician. |

Myron Bishop
Myron is a Technology & Computer Science major at the
University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor, Michigan and plans to graduate in 2008. |

Carla Brown
Carla graduated from Hampton
University in Hampton, Virginia in May 2005 with a Bachelor
of Liberal Arts degree in Political Science. She is presently
attending Texas Southern University's Thurgood
Marshall School of Law where she will earn a dual degree
in J.D and Public Administration.

Kelly Gavin
Kelly Gavin is an Elementary Education major at Shippensburg
University, PA . She is a member of the Keystone State
Reading Association (SRA) and Student-Pennsylvania Education
Association (PSEA). Keystone SRA, an affiliate of the International
Reading Association (IRA) is a worldwide network of professionals
dedicated to universal literacy and a lifetime of reading.
PSEA is a pre-professional student association dedicated to
advancing leadership skills and professional development among
future educators across the Commonwealth. Ms. Gavin plans
to graduate in December 2007. |

Devin is a Sports Management major and a member of the Trojans
Football Team. He plans to graduate from Virginia
State University in Petersburg, Virginia in 2009. |

MarQuita is a Music Education major and a member of the Spartan
Legion Marching Band at Norfolk
State University in Norfolk, Virginia. She plans to graduate
in 2008. |

Ashley Wilkerson
Ashley graduated with a degree in Public Relations and a
minor in Marketing from Pepperdine
University in Malibu, California in December 2006. Last
summer she interned in New York at NBC Universal in the Community
Affairs department gaining hands on experience with non-profits,
Public Service Announcements and other public relations functions. |
