Welcome to the Courtney Owens
Educational Foundation
Founded in 2005, the Courtney Owens Educational Foundation,
Incorporated (COEFI) is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
We will join local and national partners in advancing the
access to college in conjunction with nurturing the talents
of our young people. We are committed to promoting education
by providing financial support in the form of scholarship
awards and stipends, in addition to our volunteer staff serving
as mentors and supporters in their own communities.
Five years prior to the formal establishment of the foundation,
the President and CEO took on the personal challenge of providing
monthly stipends to several deserving students enrolled in
colleges and universities across the nation. Her unwavering
support has led to the success of those students who have
graduated; some with honors, and have gone on to pursue post-graduate
degrees or become productive citizens.
Finally, our success hinges on the generosity of our donors.
Your support and encouragement will help students achieve
their educational goals; sustain a healthy society; and, develop
our future leaders. We are excited about our endeavors and
look forward to hearing from you.
Important Message to all COEFI Supporters:
Although the home base of COEFI has moved to Fort Knox,
Kentucky, please be assured that we will continue to support
its home state of Virginia, as well as other states or areas.
Terry is assigned as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel,
30th Medical Command in Heidelberg Germnay and currently deployed
to Afghanistan. Her family continues to reside at Fort Knox,
Kentucky. Thank you so much for your continued support.
